Nia Tran, LMSW (she/her) New York & New Jersey
Therapist
Nia centers the therapeutic space around your safety and pace. Many of her clients come to therapy seeking to untangle patterns that feel automatic: like anxiety that won’t quiet, cultural expectations clashing with identity, or echoes of trauma that linger. Her role isn’t to “fix” you, but to walk alongside you as we uncover hidden layers—your stories, fears, and strengths—and invite shifts toward the life you want to live.
She understands that you might be here because life feels heavier than you’d like. Maybe past wounds resurface without warning, relationships feel strained, or the world’s noise makes it hard to hear your own voice. Together, you’ll explore unconscious patterns: reactions you can't explain, dreams whispering meaning, or body sensations carrying unspoken truths.
Nia received her Masters Degree from Boston University. She practices in both New York and New Jersey. Her lived experience as a Vietnamese-American immigrant navigating race, power, and belonging deepens her commitment to LGBTQ+ communities and to holding the wholeness of who you are with care.

Drawing on her background in cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic therapy, Nancy tailors her approach to each individual's unique needs. She understands that many challenges—including anxiety, relational difficulties, and self-perception—stem from patterns shaped by past experiences and attachments. Together, she works with clients to uncover the roots of these patterns, develop effective coping strategies, and strengthen their ability to navigate challenges.
Nancy holds a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Long Island University. She provides individual therapy to teenagers and adults, as well as couples and family therapy.
